Sticky BBQ Beef Ribs with Crispy Fries & Dip

Ingredients:
For the BBQ Ribs:
2½ lbs beef ribs
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for basting)
For the Fries:
3 medium russet potatoes (or 1 lb frozen fries)
Salt
Vegetable oil for frying or baking
Optional Dip:
Ranch, spicy mayo, or extra BBQ sauce
Instructions:
1. Prep the Ribs:
Pat ribs dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion powder.
Wrap in foil and roast low and slow at 300°F (150°C) for 2.5 hrs until tender.
2. Glaze & Caramelize:
Unwrap ribs, brush generously with BBQ sauce.
Broil on high for 5–8 mins until sticky and caramelized.
3. Make the Fries:
Peel and cut potatoes into fries. Soak in cold water 30 mins.
Fry at 350°F (175°C) in batches until golden and crisp. Drain and salt.
Or bake at 425°F (220°C) for 30 mins, flipping halfway.
4. Serve It Up:
Stack ribs on a platter with fries on the side.
Garnish with herbs, and serve with extra sauce or dip.
