You must include your full name and e-mail address with your Submitted Item so we can contact you if we have any questions about your Submitted Item; however, only your name and not your e-mail address will be published with your Submitted Item.


Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Caribbean Delights respects and protects your privacy. We will not sell, rent or share your personal information to others. The information you provide here will be used for required member communications. 

Usability Policy

Much laughter throughout the day is encouraged to keep each other happy. We are here to encourage 3 good things Live, love and Eat well. Foods and drinks of all kinds are encouraged to be posted. Remember we are highlighting the culture of the Caribbean and elsewhere with our food, dance, music, language and customs to the world.



This group has a limited purpose, and is not an "open forum." Posts must meet the standards outlined in the Group Description and Notes sections on the home page.


Abandon Conflict

This is a sharing group--not a debating group. No bickering. No shaming. No FOUL LANGUAGE. NO NAME CALLING.



Unsolicited criticism is prohibited, including "constructive" criticism and observations that are corrective in any way. If it isn't positive, it doesn't belong here.

If you see something being prepared incorrectly, do not critique. Submit a sample of your own work that you believe to be superior.


Posting Policy

You must post samples of your original work before commenting on others.

The posting of links is restricted, see exceptions listed in the group description. You may post links to your own blog/website as long as it contains NO ADS OR SOLICITATION. All posts must include temperatures/times used.



Just as law enforcement officers are authorised to exceed the speed limit, admins are authorised to take any action including banishment, without the requirement of warning or explanation. Admins are exempt from rules and guidelines.



Commerce or advertising prohibited.

Pics of equipment may not be the subject of a post.

Endorsement of branding is prohibited. Show us your work--not your stuff.

We do not allow preference polls.

Complaining prohibited.

Your professional experience does not matter here.



Food safety is the first requirement.  Every dish is "real," regardless of what it is

being called. Example: Pelau/ pealf is "real", even if it is made with beef instead of chicken.


In summary

These rules are all enforced. That does not mean that these rules are exclusive or all encompassing. Admins define what qualifies as a violation. We love fairness and free speech--but we do not guarantee them.
