Ingredients:
1 Cup Dried hibiscus flowers
4 Cups Water
1/4 Cup Honey or agave syrup
1/2 Cup Fresh orange juice
1/4 Cup Fresh lime juice
Ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves
Orange slices
Lime slices
Instructions:
1. Start by making your hibiscus infusion! Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot. Once it's bubbling away, take the pot off the heat and toss in the dried hibiscus flowers. Cover it up and let those vibrant flowers steep for about 15 to 20 minutes.
2. After steeping, strain the liquid into a large pitcher. While the tea is still warm, mix in the honey or agave syrup and stir until it dissolves. Feel free to taste and adjust that sweetness to your liking!
3. Time to bring in some zesty flavors! Once your sweetened tea cools a bit, stir in the fresh orange juice and lime juice for that citrus kick.
4. Let your tea cool to room temperature, then pop it in the fridge for at least 2 hours to chill.
5. When you're ready to enjoy, grab some glasses and fill them with ice cubes. Pour the chilled hibiscus tea over the ice and don't forget the garnish! Add fresh mint leaves and slices of orange and lime for a beautiful finish.
