Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Seafood:

  1. In a small bowl, combine Cajun seasoning with salt and pepper. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets and shrimp.

Cook the Salmon:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp:

  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.

  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

  3. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.

Combine and Serve:

  1. Return the cooked salmon to the skillet and squeeze lemon juice over the top.

  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
