Lemon Herb Grilled Salmon

Presented by Savory Circuits

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless, about 6 oz each)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

1 tsp lemon zest

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Make the Marinade:

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, thyme, salt, and pepper.

2. Marinate the Salmon:

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag.

Pour the marinade over the salmon, coating evenly.

Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes (don’t exceed 1 hour to prevent the lemon juice from “cooking” the fish).

3. Preheat the Grill:

Heat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat.

Oil the grates to prevent sticking.

4. Grill the Salmon:

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off.

Place the salmon skin-side down (if using skin-on) on the grill.

Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.

5. Serve:

Transfer to a plate and garnish with lemon slices and extra herbs.

Serve hot with a side of grilled vegetables, rice, or salad.
