Fried Breadfruit-Guyanese style


1 Medium Breadfruit

Fat for deep frying

Method for preparing and frying breadfruit:

Peel the breadfruit, then cut into even pieced about 1/2 inch thick.

Parboil in salted water, then drain.

Fry in hot fat until golden brown and crisp.

Now drain and serve HOT!

Note: 1 medium breadfruit usually serves about 15.
