Beet Cocktail

Ingredients


2 tablespoons chia seeds


1 cup of water, or use the liquid from your boiled beets


1 cup of cooked or uncooked red beet


2 medium peeled or unpeeled cucumbers


2 ripe seedless apricots


3 tablespoons of honey or sugar to taste


1 teaspoon of Angostura bitters or vanilla essence


1 /4 teaspoon of finely ground nutmeg


2 tablespoons of lemon juice


Instructions


Clean your veggies and fruits


Peel off the cooked or uncooked red beet skin, especially if it's old (save the liquid for your juice)


Deseed the apricots


Mix everything in a blender till you obtain a smoothie.


You can add more or use less beet liquid or water as you desire


Add all of your condiments.


Serve chilled and enjoy
